SEND Teaching Assistants - Full time! Hours: 8am - 3:30pm - Mon - Fri Pay Rate: £106 and up based on experience! Start Date: ASAP (after passing background checks) Duties Provide support both one on one and in groups to students with SEN needs, such as ASC, ADHD and various learning difficulties Assist in the development and implementation of Education Plans (EHCPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social skills and cofidence in lessons. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive classroom environment. Support students during lessons, helping them engage with the curriculum effectively.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and staff on a regular basis Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to special education. Requirements Experience working with children or people with Special needs, particularly those with special educational needs or disabilities. Strong communication skills and understanding of learning disabilities and how to overcome these to enable effective learning and education Alternate education qualifications in education or special education is desirable.
