Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. This role will be split across both of our dental practices and the candidate must be flexible to travel to either site. Both our Shipley and Eldwick practices are newly renovated with all of the latest equipment including intraoral scanners, same day crown and bridge milling machines, CT scanners and lots more. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort. There is also a lot of scope to broaden your skill set in areas such as orthodontics, implants, specialist led periodontal treatment, sedation and more.
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
* Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
* Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure optimal patient flow within the practice.
* Uphold strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient practice operations and high-quality patient service.
* Utilise IT systems for managing patient information and practice administration effectively.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
* Proven organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
* A background in nursing or healthcare will be advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 39 per week
