Job Title: Nursery Class Teacher - Full-Time (Until July 2026) Location: Birmingham, B27 Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: January 2026 Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a nurturing and experienced Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the B27 area of Birmingham. This full-time role is to start in January and will run until the end of the academic year in July 2026. The school is seeking a confident and skilled EYFS practitioner- this role is not open to Early Career Teachers you will need to have completed your ECT terms in full. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports emotional and educational development. Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to planning and reporting. Work collaboratively with support staff, parents/carers, and senior leaders to ensure high-quality provision. Support children with varying needs, including speech and language development, early literacy, and social skills. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - not open to ECTs. Proven experience teaching in Nursery or EYFS settings. Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills. A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young learners.
