Key Responsibilities:
* In conjunction with project managers, lead and coordinate engagement with stakeholders relevant to each project, including MPs, MSPs, Councillors, Community Councils and groups, and press.
* Lead reporting and evaluation of project communications activities including initially supporting project managers with development of project communications strategy, then reviewing weekly status, monthly summary reports to ensure agencies are delivering against agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets
* Coordinating external community events, leading as the main point of contact between the project developers and the impacted communities.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, or related field.
* 3+ years in community engagement, public relations, or similar roles.
* Experience in the development of major projects, ideally the renewable energy sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
