The role
As a Software Engineer in Test, you will work with our development, QA, and support teams to ensure the quality and reliability of AeronaDental's cloud-based dental software. You'll contribute to automated testing while also performing essential manual testing and helping investigate production support issues.
Responsibilities
Design, write, and maintain automated tests building out the regression suite
Perform manual testing to validate functionality, workflows, and edge cases
Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, working closely with Support
Collaborate with developers to identify, log, and resolve defects
Contribute to test planning, regression testing, and release validation
Help improve testing frameworks, processes, and standards within the team
Required Skills & Experience
2–3 years' experience in a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer / SDET role
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
Strong understanding of manual testing principles and QA best practices
Ability to investigate and reproduce issues found in production by reviewing logs, debugging and using SQL for data checks and investigation
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with version control (Git)
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable:
Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Experience with Spring/JEE and Core Java programming.
Experience in workflow solutions, healthcare management (particularly Dental) and patient centric applications would also be beneficial.
