Summary of the role: We are seeking a motivated and versatile Technical & Customer Support Assistant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in both the technical and commercial sides of our drone operations. You will play a key role in supporting our technical team with the maintenance and repair of client drones, while also assisting our other departments with customer enquiries, order processing, administrative and logistic support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with technology but also has excellent communication and organisational skills. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support duties: Assist in troubleshooting and repairing drone hardware, including motors, sensors, cameras, and control systems. Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and pre-flight checks. Configure and update drone firmware. Support flight testing and data collection. Maintain accurate technical documentation, repair logs, and inventory records. Customer Support duties: Answering the phone and emails, and forwarding to the correct department. Maintain and update customer information, sales data, and product records in the company CRM system. Preparing courier documentation and packaging orders for dispatch. Support the sales team in day-to-day administrative tasks. Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in relevant subjects such as Maths, Science, or Design & Technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a proactive and positive attitude Desired Skills: Experience with model aircraft, drone hobby projects, or FPV systems. A-Levels or BTEC in Engineering, Electronics, Business, or related field. Prior experience in a sales support or technical customer service role.
