Commercial Manager
Location: Onsite in Luton, Bedfordshire
Midgard, JRL Group's main contractor is looking for a Commercial Manager for a new major multi block residential project, ranging from 14 - 20 storeys. The project is conveniently located a 15minute walk from Luton train station.

Midgard is the main contracting division of the +£800m turnover JRL Group and utilises all the company's in-house resources and facilities to provide clients with a bespoke construction service. Due to continued growth we are seeking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a tenacious attitude, with a desire to succeed and progress in their career. They will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.
Responsibilities:
* Provision of guidance and advice on valuation of work in progress and future projections.
* Negotiating with client’s representatives, sub-contractors and other consultants.
* Advise on contractual implications of intended courses of action.
* When appointed, undertake the integrated role of package manager on a project.
* Advise on commercial risks within the project or projects.
* Preparation of monthly contract review reports.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts information.
* Identify change and implement change control process and agreement.
* Ensure that contract documents are properly executed prior to project commencement.

* Ideally you will have experience of managing large Residential new build projects.
