Copthorne Hotel Slough Windsor is looking for an energetic and vibrant Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role supports the hotel’s sales efforts through proactive coordination, strong administration, and client engagement. Key Information:
* Role: Sales Cordinator
* Salary: £16,174.080 p.a
* Hours of work: 24 hrs weekly
Sales Coordinators key responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate sales activity to maximise revenue from existing accounts at hotel level, national and international level.
* To regularly meet with the Director of Sales/Sales Manager to communicate customer feedback, problems encountered, sales information, competitor knowledge and product changes.
* To attend and participate in hotel sales meetings.
* To be responsible for own data collection, administration to foster efficient and effective sales practices.
* To react to integrated promotional campaigns such as direct mail and advertising and to seek out prospective and susceptive clients for the hotel.
* To ensure the presentation of all sales and marketing advertising material reflects the image of the hotel and group and is compatible with the market segment to which it is directed.
* To produce presentations for the team when requested, working to M&C guidelines.
* To ensure information relating to customer requirements, interests and market activities are kept up to date through the use of M&C accounts management system.
* To undertake mailshots and telesales campaigns when required.
* To have a good level of product knowledge of M&C Global portfolio.
* To ensure that all leads and business identified are communicated to the team, so that an Account handler is appointed to each account.
* To undertake effective show-rounds with designated hotels, when required, and to follow up on prospective management and potential clients to ensure information relating to customer requirements, interests, markets activities and personal activity is kept up to date through the use of M&C account management system.
* To project a positive attitude when communicating the hotel image at all times.
* To proactively source and research new business ,warm internal leads, along with business directories and developing these leads by telephone solicitations
* To attend and help organise trade show fairs and represent the hotel at industry related events as required.
* To attend client events where relevant.
* To be a lobby ambassador on relevant occasions, to target new and existing clients to obtain feedback and new leads of business.
* To comply with reasonable instruction as requested by Management.
* To inform your Line Manager of intended weekly call schedule, allocation of time, annual leave and lieu days.
* To maximise opportunities for raising M&C’s profile on appropriate occasions.
* Ensure all actions identified for you within the Sales Plan are effectively completed by the agreed date.
* To attend networking events as required.
* To ensure all marketing and internal marketing is up to date and relevant.
* To liaise with all departments as necessary to maximise revenue and communicate any sales related information.
