Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. What are your contributions to the team?
1. Perform on site internal audits of service centers (domestic and international).
2. Coordinate and conduct audits of mobile trucks
3. Initiate, manage and monitor audit related corrective actions
4. Conduct supplier (onsite and external) assessment and approval within established parameters
5. Perform onsite vendor audits (non certificated maintenance vendors) as needed
6. Develop, analyze, maintain, assist and support the key programs/projects managed by the Quality Assurance Department
7. Be responsible for documentation, reporting and tracking of these projects and other duties as assigned
8. Provide Inter-departmental support in QA related activities (i.e., Audit follow-up, training / coordination follow-up, Supplier Quality follow-up and coordination)
9. Provide technology support / input (web page support & input)
10. Support QA related training materials (i.e., SQM, Auditing, PMA)
11. Assist with KPI development and tracking
12. Assist with other QA related activities (i.e., department projects, Monthly Reports)
13. Assist other QA Analysts with reporting needs as required
How to thrive in this role?
14. You have at least five years of experience in a technical field (manufacturing, aerospace, defense etc.)
15. You have at least three year experience in auditing to Quality Management System requirements
16. You have a High School diploma for equivalent
17. You have exposure to / awareness of data compilation and tracking methods
18. You have exposure to / awareness of reporting with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
19. You have exposure to / awareness of training and presentation methods / skills
20. You have exposure to / awareness of policy / procedure writing methods (i.e., assisting in any project, involved in benchmarking and document mapping
21. You have knowledge of regulatory Quality Systems (FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc), Quality Assurance, and / or other technical systems within a regulatory environment
22. You have basic awareness around gaining foreign aircraft maintenance organization authorizations and certifications
23. You have basic awareness of writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Supplemental Manuals to support foreign certifications
24. You can travel to off-sites within the network (Domestic and Foreign)
