ScottishPower is on a mission to accelerate the transition to a cleaner, smarter energy future. We’re looking for a Planning & Property Solicitor to support critical infrastructure projects that will shape the energy landscape.
What you'll do
* Lead on securing land contracts and planning consents for high‑profile energy network development projects.
* Deliver expert legal advice across complex property and planning matters, collaborating and advising senior leaders across ScottishPower and the Iberdrola Group.
* Drive innovation in legal processes and contribute to best practice development.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams including Land & Planning, and external stakeholders.
What you'll bring
* Solid experience in leading or supporting energy development, infrastructure, or commercial property transactions.
* Expertise in Options, Leases, Servitudes, Dispositions, and related agreements.
* A confident, client‑focused approach to legal advisory work.
* Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
* The ability to prioritise, manage a fast‑paced workload and deliver under pressure.
