RECOVERY SUPPORT WORKER ADVANCED PERMANENT FULL-TIME IPSWICH Your Next Role! We are excited to offer our team members the chance to step into a permanent full-time Advanced Recovery Support Worker role in Ipswich. In this position, you will continue delivering evidence-based, recovery-focused support to clients recently discharged from acute mental health wards,or actively engaged with community mental health services. You will help clients achieve their personal recovery goals, support day-to-day living tasks, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes. No day is the same, but it may include: Provide recovery-oriented support to clients, including safety assessments, planning, skills development, and community connections. Assist supervisors with Individual Service Agreements, reporting, and KPI tracking to ensure service quality and compliance. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve client goals and outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation while contributing to service improvement and innovation. Participate in networks and community meetings to stay informed about mental health services and sector developments. Support team dynamics through supervision, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and on-call duties. Foster a positive, inclusive culture that values lived experience, respect, empowerment, and professional growth. You will need: Four-year degree in a human services related field with at least one-year relevant experience, or less formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience. Demonstrated understanding of the community and/or mental health sector Experienced in or able to quickly develop skills in creating support plans based on client needs and practice models. Proven ability to provide supervision, support, and build effective working relationships. Skilled in planning, prioritising, and delegating tasks to meet team and individual goals. Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders to meet outcomes. Effective in communication, conflict resolution, and demonstrating emotional intelligence. Why RFQ?
