About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and compassionate Office Administrator to join our warm and welcoming residential care home. This role is perfect for someone who combines strong administrative skills with genuine experience in the care sector. You’ll be the backbone of our office operations, supporting both the management team and care staff to ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing day-to-day office operations, including filing, record-keeping, and data entry
* Handling phone calls, emails, and enquiries from families, professionals, and external agencies
* Supporting recruitment processes, including arranging interviews and maintaining staff records
* Assisting with rota coordination and staff scheduling
* Maintaining accurate resident documentation in line with regulatory requirements
* Liaising with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families
* Supporting the Home Manager with reports, audits, and compliance tasks
* Ensuring a smooth flow of communication across the home
What We’re Looking For
* Previous administration experience in a busy environment
* Previous care sector experience (essential) — you understand the needs of residents and the pressures of a care setting
* Strong IT skills, including confidence with Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
* A warm, professional, and resident-focused approach
* Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
