Health & Safety Administrator Full-time | Permanent £27,000 - £28,000 Swadlincote Eaton Syalon are partnering exclusively with a growing UK business to recruit a Health & Safety Administrator into a newly created role. The role is in the ideal location for candidates based in Measham, Burton upon Trent, Swadlincote and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a early-career professional who is looking to build a long-term career within Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental. You’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of health and safety processes, systems and reporting, while gaining hands-on exposure across a broad range of SHEQ activity. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive and keen to develop within a professional, structured environment. Key responsibilities will include: * Promoting positive Health & Safety behaviors and challenging unsafe practices where observed * Providing proactive administrative support across SHEQ systems and processes * Maintaining accurate records for training, inspections, audits and incidents * Gathering, processing and analysing SHEQ data to produce reports * Supporting internal and external audits and compliance activity * Assisting with the development and maintenance of SHEQ policies and procedures * Coordinating external inspections, assessments, audits and meetings * Administering SHEQ systems (including EcoOnline) and generating reports * Maintaining PPE, equipment and register records * Supporting Health & Safety communications, awareness campaigns and meetings About you: * Previous administrative experience, or a relevant degree / qualification * A genuine interest in Health & Safety and compliance * Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills * Confident using systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools * Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels * Proactive, reliable and keen to learn To apply or to find out more, please contact the Professional Services team at Eaton Syalon
