Role: Care Assistant
Salary: £14 per hour (higher rate on bank holidays)
Job Type: Part Time or Full Time
Shifts Pattern: 12 hour Days and Nights (0800-2000) Monday to Sunday
Role Overview: As a Care Assistant at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals who require complex clinical care and assistance with daily living tasks. Your responsibilities will include clinical delegated tasks, personal care, supporting mobility, medication administration and offering emotional support to those who need it.
Key Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:
Conduct clinical tasks (you will be signed off as competent by a Nurse Care Manager)
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide companionship and emotional support
Work collaboratively with family members and health care professionals to meet the client's needs
Provide care and support in the community
What We're Looking for in a Care Assistant:
Previous experience in care (minimum 6 months in the UK)
A clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
A driving license (if required for the role)
