1:1 Learning Support Assistant – ADHD Support | Sutton Primary School
Start Date: Immediate | Contract: Until July 2026 | Pay: £95–£100 per day (PAYE)
Are you a graduate looking to build a meaningful career supporting young people?
Do you have an interest in psychology, education or mental health - and a strong understanding of child development?
A forward-thinking and supportive Primary School in Sutton is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with a Year 6 pupil diagnosed with ADHD.
This is a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year, offering hands-on experience that’s ideal for those aiming to become psychologists, counsellors or therapists.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A graduate (preferably in Psychology or a related field)
* Calm, consistent and able to adapt their approach to support focus and emotional regulation
* Confident in working with children, particularly those with SEND or behavioural needs
* Open to feedback, eager to learn and committed to best practice
Experience supporting children with ADHD or working in a school setting is beneficial, but not essential - the right attitude, empathy and a willingness to learn are just as important.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact while developing valuable skills for your future career.
The position is paid weekly via PAYE at a rate of £95–£100 per day.
We welcome applicants from Sutton and surrounding areas.
