Our client, a new Private Members Club with a venue offering a unique and intimate dining experience, combining exceptional Middle Eastern cuisine with a vibrant, creative music environment in London, England, is seeking an ambitious Chef with a minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a quality restaurant operation. Candidates should have a solid culinary management background and experience in quality restaurants.
Position: CHEF - LONDON, ENGLAND
Requirements / Responsibilities
* Effective communication with employees and customers, understanding reports and related correspondence, and accurately performing all essential job functions.
* High-end quality food and beverage experience.
* Seeking a better work/lifestyle balance in their culinary career.
* Work schedule: 3 days cooking in the restaurant (Thursday to Saturday) and 2 days in a creative office-based environment.
* Contribute to branding, marketing, and creative projects.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* Under the Resident Chef, oversee food preparation and cooking activities, estimate food requirements and costs, ensure food quality and portion control, assist in creating new menus and recipes, and supervise and train kitchen staff as a hands-on chef.
This position offers a starting salary of £40,000 annually. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
