Pharmacy Practice Manager Role
Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus, requiring a strong leader with a passion for healthcare, patients, and driving a profitable business. This role is responsible for delivering all pharmacy-related targets and managing the store Pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, supporting the goal to make Asda Pharmacy the best in class.
On a daily basis, the Pharmacy Practice Manager will lead, coach, and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experiences and ensure high standards of patient safety. You will support and develop all direct reports and locums to maintain high standards of professional customer service, compliance within GPhC operating standards, and clinical governance.
You will have access to in-store, regional, and home office teams for support in clinical or service-related queries, ensuring expert advice is always available.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Practice Manager to join our team, committed to healthcare excellence. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and experienced pharmacist with values aligned to ours, eager to make a positive impact on community health through primary care in our pharmacies.

Qualifications and Skills
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC
* Accredited to deliver NHS and private healthcare services
* Capable of balancing managerial and pharmacist responsibilities to ensure safety and compliance
* Proven ability to motivate and inspire teams to meet KRAs
* Experience in handling challenging situations and maintaining strong store and field team connections
Applicants must possess a valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, and relevant safeguarding qualifications. A DBS check and enrolment in the update service are also required. Documentation of qualifications and identity will be needed upon appointment.
