We are looking for a Cutting Machine Operator to join our skilled team
Our Cutting Machine Operators are responsible for ensuring that skilled staff are provided with the resources and materials that are needed to undertake their tasks, moving materials and supplies to and from the point of need as well as assisting in the general site organisation and tidiness.
Key Responsibilities:
* To follow and process Works orders, cutting tickets, as directed by factory supervisor, Via wall guide
* Manage the paperwork involved in production and stock control
* With training, operate all cutting machines and process additive equipment [Gerber, Harry, Eyeleteers, Hand Guillotine, & various hand tools]
* Manage intake of deliveries and storing of stock alongside Production and Dispatch teams
* Manage additional tools and tasks required for the manufacturing of our products, i.e. riveting etc.
* Work with both the office and production supervisor to help organise and manage resources for efficient production.
* Ensure all jobs are fully completed and ready for print & sewing in line with production schedules, and all QA Process'.
* Assist Print by checking held samples against new orders ensuring correct product is being manufactured.
* Laying up of Goods in a manner that allows Machinists to take and proceed jobs in most efficient and productive way possible.
* Make sure that accurate stock inputs and issues are completed weekly for end of month accounts.
* Additionally cross Train on other tasks so schedules can be maintained when sickness and holiday cover is required.
* To assist on any other necessary tasks required for the safe and efficient running of the factory.

Hours of work:
Flexible Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm, 42.5 hours per week.
