Cheshire | Full-Time / Part-Time | Supply & Long-Term Opportunities
Pay: £140– £230 per day (DOE)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Weekly PAYE Pay – No Umbrella Companies
About the Opportunity
Astro Education is currently recruiting Secondary Teachers to support schools across Cheshire, including Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Northwich, Winsford, Knutsford, Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Alsager and Macclesfield.
We are working closely with a number of secondary schools looking for reliable and enthusiastic teachers to provide both day-to-day supply and long-term cover across a range of subjects.
Supply teaching offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different schools, maintain flexibility, and achieve a better work-life balance, while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning during staff absences
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
* Work collaboratively with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent
* Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A passion for education and supporting young people
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
