Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 38 hours over 4 days from 8am-6pm. Part-time also considered over 2-3 full days. Location: Little Green Rascals Children's Day Nursery Tadcaster Road, 312 Tadcaster Road, York, North Yorkshire, YO24 1HF About our Nursery Our beautiful 'Outstanding' rated nursery is based in a three-story Victorian townhouse, set back from the road and opposite the beautiful York Racecourse. Buses run frequently in and out of the city, with a bus stop directly outside the nursery. We also have a spacious car park. One of the most popular aspects of our nursery is the large woodland area we enjoy at the back of the nursey. This is where our ethos comes to life and the children can engage in Forest School classes, planting organic fruit and vegetables which can be eaten once they’ve grown. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you’ll: Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
