to lead the kitchen at a
prestigious luxury hotel in Hemel Hempstead. Renowned for its high standards and exceptional dining experiences, this is a rare opportunity to take the helm in a truly high-profile hospitality environment. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management
from menu creation and team leadership to food safety and cost control. Youll combine creativity and precision to deliver outstanding dishes, while inspiring and guiding your team to perform at the very highest level. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the kitchen team, delivering consistency, creativity, and excellence
Develop innovative, seasonal menus showcasing premium ingredients
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
Oversee stock control, ordering, and cost management within budgets
Coach and mentor junior chefs to support their growth and progression
Ensure efficiency and excellence during busy service periods
Keep menus fresh and competitive by staying up to date with industry trends
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a
Head Chef
(or senior role) in a hotel or luxury dining environment
Exceptional culinary skills with a flair for menu development and presentation
Strong leadership and supervisory abilities with a hands-on approach
Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practice
Organised, calm under pressure, and confident in high-volume service
NVQ Level 3 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification (preferred)
