Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant within the Same Day Emergency Care Clinic/Acute Medical Unit at the Bournemouth site of University Hospitals Dorset.
The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) clinic plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. The HCA is responsible for assisting with the timely admission, assessment, and treatment of patients, ensuring they receive necessary care within the same day.
Applicants are required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to high standards of care, and the ability to treat all patients, relatives, and staff with dignity and respect.
This role requires an approved care certificate
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Qualifications

* Understanding of basic physiology (e.g., vital signs, fluid balance, nutritional needs)
