A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its high‑performing Advanced Delivery team within the Finance & Projects group. This role sits at the intersection of legal expertise, technology, and innovation, supporting the delivery of complex, high‑value work for major clients.
The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver technology‑enabled legal solutions across a range of sectors, including banking, funds, pensions, financial regulation, and project finance.
This position is well suited to a commercially minded lawyer who is curious about new ways of delivering legal services and keen to develop the skills of a modern, forward‑looking practitioner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designing, pitching, and delivering technology‑enabled legal solutions for major clients
2. Supporting complex, large‑scale projects across finance, regulatory and projects work
3. Collaborating with lawyers, technologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary teams
4. Identifying opportunities to improve legal delivery through innovation, data, and process design
5. Contributing to business development activities, including client proposals and solution design
6. Taking ownership of elements of matter and project delivery, with direct client interaction
The firm is seeking a lawyer with 5–8 years’ post‑qualification experience, qualified in England & Wales, Scotland, or another jurisdiction. The successful candidate will have a strong technical legal foundation and bring a commercial, solutions‑focused mindset to their work. They will be a confident and effective communicator, comfortable working directly with clients and senior stakeholders, and able to build strong working relationships across teams. A genuine interest in legal innovation and alternative delivery models is important, although no technical background is required.
Experience in financial services, infrastructure or construction is advantageous but not essential.
