Used Car Sales Executive Required, in Gloucester Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Gloucester, is seeking a dedicated Used Car Sales Executive to join their professional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Car Sales Executives to advance their careers within a leading automotive group recognised for its excellent service standards and expansive franchise network.

The successful professional will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, exceeding sales targets, and promoting a comprehensive range of used vehicles.


Benefits as a Car Sales Executive

* Competitive basic salary of £19,000 with a company car; or £23,000 basic salary with no company car.
* Uncapped earning potential with a performance‑related commission scheme, offering on‑target earnings of £45,000 per annum – 30 days annual holiday allowance, with bank holidays worked granted a day off in lieu.

Duties

* Sell used vehicles, including a wide range from city cars to SUVs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Assist customers in selecting add‑on products such as accessories, finance, insurance, and extended warranties.
* Keep customers informed about vehicle delivery timelines and resolve any queries promptly.
* Collect payments and explain warranty and service arrangements effectively.
* Introduce customers to the Service Department and demonstrate vehicle features.
* Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities.
* Work independently to maximise every sales opportunity.
* Attend training courses to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.


Requirements as a Car Sales Executive

* Proven experience in vehicle sales, preferably within a franchise‑approved dealership environment; experience outside franchised settings also considered.
* Strong sales track record with excellent customer relationship skills.
* Confidence in presenting vehicle features and explaining finance options.
* Driven to meet and exceed sales targets with a professional approach.
* Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
* Demonstrated commitment to delivering high standards of customer service and personal development.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
* Flexibility to work across a 5‑day week, Monday to Saturday, with some late shifts and working on Sundays during peak months (March and September).
