Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a Behaviour Buddy to support pupils in a Wirral primary school from January. About the role: You'll work with children who need extra help managing their behaviour, emotions, and engagement in class. Your role will involve building positive relationships, supporting de-escalation, and helping pupils stay on task so they can make progress. What you'll be doing: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis Helping children regulate their emotions and behaviour Using calm, consistent strategies to de-escalate situations Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Tracking progress and feeding back to staff Encouraging positive routines and engagement in lessons Ideal candidate: Experience in behaviour support, youth work, SEMH, or similar Resilient, patient, and confident managing challenging situations Able to build trust and maintain boundaries Available full-time from January If you're interested in this role, apply today or contact Libbie at Tradewind on 0151 221 9666 for more information.
