Graphic Designer - Fixed-Term Contract (Manchester)
Chapman Taylor, a globally recognised practice of award-winning architects, masterplanners, and interior designers with a presence in 15 design studios worldwide, including three in the UK, is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a fixed-term contract for a minimum of 10 Months, and will be based at our Manchester studio. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a creative and dynamic studio environment. As a member of our UK Graphics Team, you will provide graphic design support to our team, working on projects in the UK and internationally.
Job Description:
1. You will work closely with one of our experienced graphic designers in the Manchester studio
2. Create and develop artwork for a variety of materials, for electronic and print format, including brochures, catalogues, presentations, public exhibition boards, bid documents, requests for proposals, project design reports, and more.
3. With support, take ownership and responsibility for projects from the initial brief to final delivery.
Skills and Requirements:
4. Enthusiasm and a willingness to work as part of a team to produce high quality work
5. A portfolio showcasing inspiring, creatively driven work highlighting conceptual thinking and robust visual design skills.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for layout and typography.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to confidently present ideas.
8. Excellent time-management skills, enabling you to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrently.
9. Capable of working independently, with appropriate supervision and as part of a team to deliver innovative and creative print and digital projects from concept to final execution.
10. Proficiency in the English language.
11. A bachelor's degree in graphic design.
Software Requirements:
12. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
