Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
* Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
* Provide accurate information to callers and direct them to the appropriate person or department
* Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
* Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
* Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
* Perform basic clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, and faxing
* Assist with data entry and record keeping
* Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
* Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
* Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
* Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
* Ability to type accurately and efficiently
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Professional appearance and demeanor

* GCSE A to C in English and maths

We are a small single handed GP practice. We have a small admin team, multiple clinicians, one nurse, 2 HCAs, Assistant Manager and Practice Manager
