The Westminster School is committed to innovative curriculum development and dynamic teaching methods aimed at putting learning at the forefront of student progress. We seek a qualified, dynamic and motivated teacher with a genuine passion for making a positive impact in pupils' lives. This role supports students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, empowering them to thrive and ensuring they are prepared and supported for life beyond education.
You will design and deliver engaging lessons daily using creative and innovative teaching strategies that spark curiosity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will work in a well-resourced environment with expert colleagues, monitor and assess student progress, and nurture personal development and wellbeing alongside educational achievement. We are looking for a passionate educator and skilled communicator who can connect meaningfully with pupils with diverse and complex needs and contribute to the school's vision and direction.

School Details
The Westminster School caters for 320 pupils aged 7–19 years with a wide range of special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Development Delay and Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities. The School offers a comprehensive CPD programme and has been awarded the Investors in People Platinum Award. The School occupies state-of-the-art facilities on a £42 million Rowley Learning Campus.

Qualifications and Checks
* Qualified teacher with experience in SEN and working with pupils who have diverse and complex needs.
* Ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents/carers, and staff.
* The post requires fluent English, in line with Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).

The Westminster School is a Special School in Rowley Regis serving pupils aged 7–19 years with moderate learning disabilities and additional needs. We deliver an innovative, child-centred curriculum focused around 6 holistic areas: My Communication, My Community, My Care and Independence, My Creativity, My Thinking, My Wellbeing. Our curriculum wraps around the young person to meet them at the point of need, with work on supported internships and apprenticeships at the forefront of national developments.
We moved to our new site in February 2011; the school is purpose built with most ground-floor classrooms providing access to outside spaces and Learning Outside the Classroom integrated into an enriched curriculum.
