Are you an experienced early years professional with a passion for high-quality childcare and leadership? Bee's Knees Nursery and Pre-school is looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to support our Nursery Manager in delivering outstanding care and education.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will:
* Support the daily management of the nursery and step into the Manager's role when needed.
* Ensure a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children.
* Lead and motivate a team of early years practitioners.
* Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENCO in the Manager's absence.
* Maintain high standards in line with the EYFS, Ofsted, and health & safety regulations.
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
What We're Looking For
* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or higher).
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills.
* A proactive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
* A passion for delivering outstanding early years education.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee planning and delivery of engaging activities.
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare of all children.
* Support staff development, training, and appraisals.
* Manage nursery records, rotas, and administrative tasks.
* Welcome new families and promote the nursery's ethos.
