Assistant Project Manager
Location: Coventry - Midlands Region
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Package: Company Vehicle w/ Fuel Card or Vehicle Allowance + 29 Days annual leave including Public Holidays + Bonus Scheme & Excellent Company Benefits
Working for a regional contractor delivering refurbishment, maintenance and construction schemes across commercial, education, healthcare and public sector projects, including both small works and larger design-and-build contracts.
The Role:
The role will support Project Managers in the delivery of construction and maintenance projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
Key duties include:
* Supporting the management of construction projects and small works schemes.
* Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
* Assisting with project reporting, valuations and final accounts.
* Attending site and client meetings.
* Supporting health & safety and CDM compliance.
* Assisting with procurement and tender preparation.
* Monitoring project progress, costs and programme delivery.
* Maintaining high levels of client and customer service.
The Requirements:
* Previous Site Management or Site Supervision experience within construction would be highly desired.
* Good understanding of construction processes and project delivery.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
* Experience within commercial or design-and-build projects advantageous.
* Construction-related qualification preferred but not essential (HNC/HND or Degree)
* SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
* Full UK driving licence
