About the Role
Were building the world’s best beer, wine and whisky clubs and our global reach is growing fast. We’re looking for an ambitious Trade Executive to supercharge our government-funded partnerships and unlock new opportunities across key markets.
Across our three clubs, we deliver up to 200,000 themed boxes per month, along with our leading magazine titles Ferment, Glug and Stamash. We work closely with government organisations to promote their region through the products we feature and the content our team produces.
An exciting opportunity within the industry, you’ll identify, pitch and win international trade funding from global agencies and trade bodies, driving exciting product themes, welcome boxes and market‑expansion projects across our clubs.
You’ll enjoy a balance of autonomy, hands‑on commercial ownership and strategic impact, perfect for someone who’s hungry to help shape a rapidly scaling part of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, prospect, and pitch advertising opportunities to brands & tourist boards across magazines, digital channels, and events.
* Own the full sales lifecycle: from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation, closing, and post‑sale relationship management.
* Build and maintain a strong B2B sales pipeline, ensuring at least 5x coverage of quarterly revenue targets.
* Collaborate with internal teams (design, editorial, production) to ensure media campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and meet client expectations.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote our media products and advertising solutions.
* Identify and develop innovative commercial partnership opportunities across Beer52, including Ferment, Glug & Stramash magazines, collaborating with like‑minded brands to drive revenue, increase visibility, and support overall business growth.
About You:
* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in advertising/brand partnerships or within food, beverage, or FMCG sectors.
* Experienced in pitching and selling media space, preferably in magazines or digital publications.
* Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced sales environment with shifting priorities.
* Excellent relationship‑builder with strong interpersonal and presentation skills; able to influence key decision makers.
* Comfortable using modern CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) to manage structured sales funnels.
* Multilingual candidates (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) are a plus, but not essential.
* Passion for media, publishing, or lifestyle brands is desirable.
* Ideally based in Edinburgh or London.
