We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Cambridge who are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on a full-time basis. Our client can offer a hybrid working model, and you will need to have experience in a similar position. Typical duties include: * Processing purchase requests and purchase orders, monitoring accounts payable * Preparing and processing purchase invoices for payment * Processing expense claims and reconciling credit card expenses * Maintaining the accounting system, ensuring records are accurate and reconciled * Filing invoices, purchase orders and other relevant documents * Maintaining petty cash records * Monitoring bank accounts, making payments online, and completing weekly bank reconciliations * Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and year-end audit requirements * Participating in projects and providing cover for the team as needed You will have: * Previous experience in a finance/accounts payable role * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders * Proficiency with accounting systems and MS Office (Excel in particular) * A proactive and adaptable approach with a willingness to support across the finance function If this role looks like the new challenge that you are looking for, please apply via the advert or contact John at Eclectic Recruitment.
