An opportunity for an experienced senior engineering leader to oversee delivery across data and software teams within a complex, evolving environment. This role is focused on leadership, driving standards, and improving delivery, with potential to develop into a longer-term position.
Responsibilities:
Lead c.30 engineers across multiple squadsDrive delivery, standards and best practiceProvide leadership across distributed teamsAlign engineering output with business objectivesSupport and challenge team leads and managers
Required skillset:
Proven Head of Data or Engineering / senior leadership experienceStrong background in data-led environmentsExperience managing large, distributed teamsAbility to drive engineering standards and challenge effectivelyExposure to .Net environmentsKnowledge of SQL-based systems, Databricks and AzureExperience delivering in cloud environments
