Responsibilities
* Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems, including but not limited to valves, fittings, and related equipment.
* Interpret and work from isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute pipefitting tasks accurately.
* Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and techniques while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems to identify and resolve issues such as leaks, blockages, or faulty components.
* Collaborate closely with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople, to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
* Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols, promoting a culture of safety compliance within the team.
* Document all pipefitting activities, including work performed, materials used, and any pertinent information.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial environments, preferably within the oil, gas, or related sectors.
* Relevant pipefitting qualifications/certifications (such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) in pipefitting, plumbing, or a related field.
* Comprehensive knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shutdown environment.
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing project requirements.
* Valid certifications/licenses required by UK regulations for onshore shutdown projects.
* Pass a medical
* Ability to work at heights and work in confined spaces
