As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will ensure the upkeep of the ward environment and work collaboratively with clients to attend to housekeeping tasks within the unit. The housekeeper will support the registered nurse and other relevant professional practitioners, where appropriate.
This post requires the post holder to have PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland before starting. Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme. If any change to requirements occurs, it will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.

Qualifications
* Experience in healthcare housekeeping or equivalent role preferred.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and follow infection prevention and control guidelines.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
