You’ll be a key contributor to patient safety and treatment efficacy through the following responsibilities: • Reviewing, checking, screening chemotherapy prescriptions • Providing expert clinical input to oncology and haematology teams • Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of cancer treatments • Supporting patients in understanding and managing their oncology medications • Collaborating with MDTs to improve outcomes for cancer patients • Staying current with oncology protocols and pharmacy best practices Requirements: • Current and valid GPhC registration • Recent hospital experience is essential – applicants must have prior NHS or hospital-based experience • Experience checking chemotherapy prescriptions is required • Strong understanding of oncology and haematology treatment pathways • Excellent clinical communication and decision-making skills • A commitment to delivering the highest standard of care Working Hours & Contract Details: This full-time role is based on-site in Lancashire.
