Pulse are recruiting an HCPC registered Psychologist to join a specialist residential service supporting children and young people with complex trauma, autism, and learning disabilities. This is a full-time, on-site role working across several sites in the greater Manchester region. Sponsorship is available for eligible applicants (must be HCPC registered), and the role offers a unique opportunity to lead psychological therapies within a trauma-informed framework.
Responsibilities:
As a Psychologist, you will:
* Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health needs.
* Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
* Lead psychological input across services, embedding trauma-informed care principles.
* Provide consultation, guidance, and supervision to non-psychologist colleagues, trainees, and assistants.
* Contribute to service development through research, audit, and teaching.
* Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team, maintaining autonomy within professional guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Are confident in psychological formulation and therapeutic delivery across a range of models
* Can work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
