Duties
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support individuals in following their personalised care plans to promote their independence and quality of life.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the resident's condition to the appropriate personnel.
* Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment by following health and safety protocols.
* Drive to various locations as required for home care visits, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with residents and team members.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for those required to travel between locations.
* Basic IT skills are essential for maintaining records and using care management software.
