Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team with a primary focus on bid writing and quoting. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their project management skills within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent time management abilities, with a proven track record of bid writing and a good understanding of the tendering process.
Duties
* Bid writing, quoting and client engagement.
* Sales tracking, pipeline management, quote chasing
* Margin expectations and profitable performance
* Assist in the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
* Prepare and return quotes to clients, based on requests for quote/tender
* Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines.
* Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
* Facilitate communication between team members and clients to ensure all parties are informed of project developments.
* Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, proposing solutions as necessary.
* Utilise Civil 3D software for design and planning tasks as required.
* MS Project (preferable)
* Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Experience
* Proven experience in project management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Familiarity with Civil 3D software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
