Overview
We are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to support the delivery of Link Club sessions for young people aged 13 to 25 with disabilities on a Wednesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. This is a term time only position.
Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with young people aged 13 to 25
* Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session for young people
* Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification (note: this will include some Saturday training, estimated 9 Saturdays, plus some evening training online and in person)
* Be able to be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues
* Be a positive role model to young people
Requirements / Qualifications
* Induction and Level 2 Youth Work qualification or willingness to complete
* Ability to attend training as required (including some Saturdays and evenings)
* Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to session needs
