We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Driver / Demonstrator to support our Service Centre operations, helping us to deliver our promise of quality products and services on time, every time for our customers.
Every day brings something new - travelling to different locations, meeting customers, delivering and collecting our extensive range of Flooring Solutions. You'll also demonstrate how to operate the equipment, so we'll ensure that you have the training and skills needed to carry this out in a professional and safe manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing any equipment on site or back in the depot. The personal qualities you'll bring are as important to us as your skills and experience. You'll be the face of Sunbelt Rentals, the first person that most of our customers will see, so we'll expect you to be a great brand ambassador. Friendly and helpful, you'll be the kind of person who goes out of their way to help their team-mates and customers.
Responsibilities
* Support Service Centre operations by driving, demonstrating equipment, delivering and collecting our flooring solutions at different locations.
* Demonstrate how to operate equipment; receive training and maintain a professional and safe approach.
* Maintain and repair equipment on site or back in the depot as required.
* Represent Sunbelt Rentals as a brand ambassador; provide friendly, helpful service to customers and colleagues.
What you will need to bring to the role
* You will be a fully competent driver with licence category B, preferably with a clean driving licence (no more than six points)
* Experience of trailer towing is ideal; training will be provided
* Driver CPC and Digital Driver Card would be desirable (training will be available)
* Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build good relationships and represent Sunbelt Rentals positively
* A flexible and adaptable approach; good teamwork
* Articulate and organised with attention to detail and accuracy
* A strong commitment to Health and Safety; able to comply with H&S legislation and Sunbelt Rentals policies
