We are looking for a team player to join our Finance Team here at Highlands & Islands Airports Ltd. This is a diverse and busy team, which covers all aspects of financial transactions for our 11 airports and the various departments within Head Office.
A background in finance and accounting is preferred, in particular purchase ledger as this role requires a strong understanding of ledger postings and general reconciliations along with a basic knowledge of accounting. You will need to have good communication skills, be extremely organised and able to work within a diverse team of professionals. The ability to work to strict deadlines, whilst achieving a high level of accuracy is also essential. As you’ll be working unsupervised at times, you must be able to prioritise workload, be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
This is a part time role working 21 hours per week.
It’s really important that you have a flexible approach and attitude to your work and a strong commitment to customer service. You’ll be a key player within a small team working hard to ensure a top-quality service is provided.
We can consider applications to work on a hybrid basis, with the successful candidate based within daily travelling distance of any of our 11 airports. There will be some travel to our Head Office required.
