An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Home Manager to manage an exceptional new learning disability home based in East Colchester. Our client is one of the UK's leading health care providers who offer specialist care.
This is a fantastic, modern specialist nursing home for 10 people with learning disabilities and autism.
Our client would consider senior applicants (Senior Nurses, Deputy Managers, Unit Managers, and Clinical Leads) who want to take on their first Home Manager role. They would also consider experienced managers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring adherence to CQC standards and regulations
2. Meeting both quality and financial targets, facilitating the development of quality healthcare services that respond to the changing needs of clients and reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
3. Contributing to the strategic development of the care home, ensuring adherence to the company's objectives and business plan
4. Promoting and enhancing the company's reputation for high-quality outcomes for clients
5. Understanding and responding to the specific needs of individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
6. Participating in contract reviews and representing the organization in respect of service delivery
7. Leading the supervision and annual review process within the service's partnerships for your team
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Experience with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and positive behaviour support
2. An excellent track record in a management role within the social or healthcare sector
3. Strong commercial acumen to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation
4. An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership
5. Experience in working with external agencies such as CQC, Safeguarding, and CCGs
6. A commitment to a person-centred approach to deliver high-quality services enabling people to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives
The successful Registered Manager will receive an excellent salary of up to GBP60,000 per annum, plus a GBP5,000 Welcome Bonus!
This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.
