Our client is currently recruiting an Electrical biased, Multi-skilled Engineer who will ensure the reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment by performing proactive and reactive maintenance tasks, with a strong focus on electrical systems.

Responsibilities
Adhere to all Safety, Health & Environmental procedures and ensure work complies with site policies and work instructions.
Rapidly diagnose and repair equipment faults, particularly electrical issues, minimising downtime and ensuring safe reinstatement of service.
Execute both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
Support the delivery of the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and contribute to its ongoing improvement.
Install, commission, and modify equipment and systems as required.
Apply Continuous Improvement (CI) principles to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve product quality.
Maintain effective communication across all shifts, completing accurate maintenance logs, shift handovers, and relevant reports
Qualifications
Time-served, apprentice trained engineer
Strong experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis, particularly with electrical systems
Working knowledge of Health & Safety practices in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (electrical and mechanical)
Confident working across both electrical and mechanical disciplines
Competent in using Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. CMMS) and basic IT tools (e.g. MS Office).
4 on 4 off continental shift pattern (Day/ Night)
