Job Description
Regulatory Leadership
3. Act as Responsible Individual (RI) for the Leeds office audit practice
4. Oversee audit quality monitoring and ensure adherence to the audit methodology
Audit Practice Leadership
5. Lead and direct a portfolio of significant audit engagements
6. Sign audit opinions on statutory and regulatory audits as engagement partner
7. Mentor and develop audit managers and senior staff
Client Relationship Management
8. Build and maintain relationships with key audit clients and prospects
9. Identify opportunities for cross-selling other services
10. Participate in tender processes for new audit appointments
Business Development
11. Develop new client relationships and expand existing client services
12. Represent the firm at industry events and professional forums
13. Work with marketing team on thought leadership and business development initiatives
The Successful Applicant
Professional Qualifications
14. ACA or ACCA qualification with valid audit qualification
15. Registered as Responsible Individual (RI) or eligible for registration
16. Minimum 10+ years post-qualification experience in audit
17. Substantial experience as an audit engagement Director
Technical Expertise
18. Comprehensive knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS
19. Knowledge of relevant sector-specific audit requirements
20. Understanding of emerging audit technologies and data analytics
Leadership & Management
21. Proven track record in senior audit leadership roles
22. Excellent client relationship management capabilities
23. Track record of successful audit practice growth
