Gas Heating & Plumbing Engineer – London
We are seeking a fully qualified Gas Engineer to cover South East London and Dartford areas.
Full‑time permanent role with a salary of £38,000–£45,000. Benefits include van, laptop, phone and test equipment.
Working hours: up to 40 hours per week, normally between 08:30 and 17:30, with flexible scheduling as required to cover varied appointments.
Responsibilities
* Complete gas‑safety checks and remedial work.
* Install boilers and perform combi swaps.
* Diagnose faults and carry out installations to a high standard.
* Support other engineers when required.
Requirements
* Experience in domestic heating and plumbing systems.
* Up‑to‑date Water Regulations (Part L) qualifications and vented/unvented plumbing qualifications.
* Electrical qualification (Part P) or familiarity with controls and wiring plans.
* ACS certificates: CKR1 (cookers and ranges), CENWAT (boilers and water heaters), HTR1 (fires) and DAH1 (space heaters and warm air).
* Asbestos and Legionella Awareness training desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Computer literate.
* Full, clean driving licence.
* DBS check required.
