About This Role
We have an exciting opening for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team. The TA will work with teaching staff to enhance students' learning and attainment by providing support to access the curriculum, participate in learning, and reach their potential. Previous experience in a secondary school is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The role is based on 32 hours per week, term time plus one week (39 weeks per year).
You will support pupils with special educational needs, encouraging their learning, skill development, confidence, and achievement. Working closely with staff, you will contribute to an engaging classroom environment and support students' learning journeys.
At Cowes Enterprise College, we are mentors, guides, and champions of lifelong learning. Our mission is to nurture a love for learning and equip students with skills for life beyond the classroom.
Cowes Enterprise College is a successful school with strong outcomes. Our mission: to educate for life. We focus on developing a love of learning and preparing students for the future, driven by their limitless potential. Our purpose is to support and inspire them to reach their goals.
