Base pay range

The exciting role to join the team at the University of St Andrews as an Education Liaison Officer (Conversion Officer) has recently become available. Working in a high‑energy, results‑oriented environment with motivated and specialist colleagues who are focused on building long‑term relationships to support student recruitment and admissions through external engagement and personalised communication, the successful post holder has responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the University’s priorities and targets for admissions.

The post holder will focus on conversion of students from offer holder to entrant from around the world, to full‑time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In addition, engaging with prospective students providing them with information about the university's programmes, campus life, admissions process, scholarships, and more. The post holder will focus on nurturing and maintaining ongoing relationships with offer holders to keep them engaged and motivated throughout the application process. This may involve answering queries, offering personalised advice, and addressing concerns. A keen interest in data analysis is important so the post holder may track and analyse data about offer holder interactions with the university to identify trends and improve recruitment strategies.

This challenging post will attract applicants with a good Honours degree and proven experience as an excellent communicator, strong team player, and ability to research and interpret data and identify trends. The post-holder may be required to undertake overseas travel and must bring with them the proven ability to build relationships. This is an exciting but challenging time in higher education and therefore the successful candidate will be successful at working across business areas, conscientious, passionate and ambitious.


Qualifications

Good Honours degree (or equivalent); proven experience as an excellent communicator, strong team player; ability to research and interpret data and identify trends; proven ability to build relationships; willingness to undertake overseas travel.
