Job Overview
We’re looking for a commercially minded, people‑first leader to run one of our large‑format Donation Centres (circa 8,000 sq ft). These are high‑volume, high‑impact spaces handling up to 10 tonnes of donated goods per week. You will manage a dynamic, warehouse‑style retail environment focused on community, sustainability and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and manage stock through community relationships, outreach and creative promotions.
* Build strong local relationships to drive donations and design engaging promotions and events.
* Lead a large and diverse team, predominantly volunteers, inspiring, coaching, and motivating them.
* Balance operational oversight, creativity, community engagement and commercial drive.
* Recruit and maintain a bank of skilled and general volunteers for collection, sorting, repair and up‑cycle work.
* Establish links with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps and individuals to provide donations and volunteer opportunities.
* Maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Additional Requirements
All Shop Managers will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Check.
