This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and adaptable individual to gain long-term experience in a secondary school setting, covering lessons on a general supply basis. The role is available for an immediate start and will run until the end of July 2026, with the potential to become permanent if both the school and candidate feel it’s the right fit. The Role: Full-time Cover Supervisor position Delivering pre-set work and supervising classes across a range of subjects Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment Supporting students to stay on task and engaged with their learning Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff The School: Based in Christchurch Part of a large academy trust offering strong structure and support Positive school culture with clear behaviour policies Supportive leadership team focused on staff development The Ideal Candidate: Confident leading classes of secondary-aged students Background in education, teaching, or supporting children (essential) Sports coaching, dance, or similar leadership background highly desirable Strong communication and behaviour management skills Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable QTS is not required for this role.
